Kean University officially renamed its University Center as the Miron Student Center in a joyful ceremony on Wednesday, October 7, attended by faculty, administrators, students, and family and friends of benefactor Diane Goldblatt Miron, a graduate of the Class of 1961, and her husband Bob Miron. After the dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting, the Mirons were presented with a framed replica of the commemorative plaque mounted on the wall of the Miron Student Center atrium. Mrs. Miron also spent some time with Kean student leaders, asking and answering questions about their experiences at Kean and her own life. Click here to see an event recap and photos.
The Soirée is over—and a great time was had by all! But you can still be part of the effort by Liberty Hall Museum and the Kean University Foundation to support Liberty Hall's educational programming for children. One way to do that is to go visit Liberty Hall and see the Toys Through Time: The History of American Fun exhibit, which opened on October 5. Another way is to donate today to Liberty Hall Museum.
