Cranford Public School District names Gregg Caverly as the Director of Data and Learning Acceleration

The Cranford Board of Education is pleased to announce Gregg Caverly as the Director of Data and Learning Acceleration. This new position will provide leadership, direction, coordination, and analysis and interpretation of District data to ensure quality of education, including targeted programs for learning acceleration and personalized learning.

Dr. Caverly has worked in the Cranford School District for the past 23 years. The first 12 years as a teacher of mathematics at the high school and the past 11 years as the district supervisor of mathematics and computer science and most recently as the Interim Principal at Walnut Avenue School.

Dr. Caverly earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Montclair State University, his Masters in Administration and Supervision from Kean University and his doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership from New Jersey City University.

Dr. Caverly is excited to begin this new position and looks forward to working with district staff to further contribute to the continued success of Cranford Public Schools.
