Eduardo Espinal '98 '09
The Kean University Foundation’s Board of Directors is composed of distinguished professionals who generously share their time, talent and expertise in support of Kean University. We are proud to introduce one of the Board’s newest members, Kean alumnus Eduardo Espinal ’98, ’09, a highly accomplished leader whose career spans more than a decade in the electric vehicle (EV) industry.
Espinal brings extensive experience working with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), charging manufacturers and technology innovators to advance both direct and channel sales growth. Most recently, he served as director of business development and strategic partnerships, e-mobility, at Flash Parking, where he spearheaded EV charging construction initiatives and fostered key fleet and real estate partnerships. His career also includes leadership roles at TurnTide Technologies, ChargePoint and Urban Science. As strategic sales director for ChargePoint’s Automotive Group, Espinal oversaw all automotive OEM relationships in North America, significantly expanding the company’s presence in this critical market.
In November 2024, Espinal became head of sales and partnerships for North America at ZeroMission, a technology company dedicated to accelerating zero emission vehicle adoption through innovative software solutions. He now serves as senior vice president of sales at Pando Electric, where he leads the sales organization, drives go-to-market strategy and builds scalable infrastructure to deliver cost-effective, high-impact EV home charging solutions for multifamily and commercial properties.
At Kean, he remains a dedicated alumnus, actively supporting the Office of Alumni Affairs and playing an instrumental role in establishing the Drs. Jose A. Quiles & Cayetano Socarras Leadership Fund, which honors the fraternity’s founders and their ties to the University.
Espinal also shares his expertise in the classroom as an adjunct instructor in Kean’s College of Business and Public Management, teaching business statistics and applications. His dual role as both educator and industry leader underscores his commitment to preparing the next generation of business professionals.
He is also deeply engaged in the community. He serves on the board of the Central Jersey Latino Chamber of Commerce is chairperson of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc and is a committee member for the United Dominicans of Perth Amboy.
