Bill Miller, CEO of the Kean University Foundation, Participates in Oiada International’s Inspiration Day

On Monday, February 6, 2023, Bill Miller, CEO of the Kean University Foundation, had the opportunity to participate in Oiada International’s “Inspiration Day” as a guest speaker for a session entitled “The Gift of Giving.”

The primary goal of Oiada International is to empower youth around the world to become 21st century global citizens through programs made accessible via videoconference. Leaders across various industries are regularly invited to speak as part of the “Inspiration Day” series, addressing students from around the world and encouraging them to achieve their goals. The international students had an opportunity to hear an inspirational message and interact with some of today’s foremost industry leaders. Learning from corporate leaders around the world helps students to prepare for college and the global corporate workforce.

Bill was honored when Eric Jones, CEO of Oiada International, reached out and requested his participation in the virtual event. He spoke about the importance of corporate social responsibility and how educational institutions can have an impact on all aspects of society including the economy, society and environment, as well as the impact of philanthropy around the world. “It was my distinct pleasure to virtually meet with such a wonderful group of young minds,” Bill stated. “To be able to connect with students in Africa, alongside like-minded professionals, was a fantastic experience.”

1. Respect is a core part of being a Kean Cougar. Although we welcome your comments and feedback, you must take the responsibility to share both in a way that is respectful to Kean University, our team members and our overall community.
2. We will not tolerate comments, replies, messages or posts that are inappropriate, harassing in nature, or otherwise abusive.
3. We do not welcome comments, replies, messages or posts that are promoting or soliciting a third-party site. This includes third-party products and initiatives.
4. Social media is not the proper forum to send us feedback about our services. Please email kuf@keanfoundation.org for help with those topics.
5. We reserve the right to remove comments/replies/message that do not adhere to our policies, or any content that we believe does not comply.
6. We reserve the right to block or ban anyone who violates our policies.

1. We monitor our social media channels on weekdays, during normal business hours. We try to respond as soon as we are able.
