What’s Special About April 14th?
On April 14th, 1855, Newark Normal School, now Kean University, held its first day of classes.

In special recognition, we will hold our annual Day of Giving celebration on Wednesday, April 14th. Our Day of Giving is the University’s annual day of gratitude, and a special time to show our pride, honor our mission, and raise crucial funds to support Kean University. We invite you to join us on April 14th to demonstrate your dedication to Kean by doing these things:

Share how much Kean University means to you by posting to social media on Giving Day using #KeanGives. Reach out to your network and get them fired up!

Giving matters – for strengthening programs, supporting scholarships, ensuring current Cougars have the Kean experience they deserve, and for Kean’s rankings.
