About the Nathan Weiss Memorial Cougar Color 5K
Join us for our second annual Color 5K. Get blasted with colored cornstarch and raise money for Cougar Color Scholarships. There will be music, entertainment and dancing.
Who Will Benefit
The Nathan Weiss Memorial Cougar Color 5K will support educational causes in memory of Dr. Nathan Weiss, former president of Kean University, for whom the Graduate College is named. All proceeds from the event will sponsor graduate student scholarships for Kean University students, benefiting higher education in New Jersey.
Your participation and support will help to make this run a spectacular and memorable event for the entire region.
What is the Nathan Weiss Graduate College
Housed on Kean's East Campus, the Nathan Weiss Graduate College supports the mission and goals of the University through graduate education, research, and continuing education. Through comprehensive graduate programs, dedicated faculty promote the mastery of academic disciplines and their applications at an advanced level.
Important Registration Information
Participants who pre-register are guaranteed a Cougar Color 5K t-shirt in their race bag on race day. All participants who pre-register will be able to pickup their t-shirts on race day, while supplies last. All registrants will receive a race bag on the day of the race which will include: race bib, sunglasses, course map, coupons, and more. Kean students who register for the race before October 9, 2016 receive the discounted entry fee of $20. Kean faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as teams of five runners who register for the race before October 9, 2016 receive the discounted entry fee of $25. Kean students can register in teams of 5 to be eligible for a flat $80.00 registration fee! All other runners will pay the regular registration fee of $30. All registration fees are non-refundable. All proceeds from the event will sponsor graduate student scholarships and research grants for Kean University students.
