2009 Kean University Foundation Highlights

• A $6 million gift was made by Maxine '78 and Jack Lane, and was recognized at a May 2009 dedication of The Maxine and Jack Lane Center for Academic Success. 

• A leadership gift by retired professor W.Carl Burger resulted in a dedication of The Karl and Helen Burger Gallery, named in honor of his parents.

•  The 12th Annual Kean University Gala brought more than 800 benefactors to historic Ellis Island for a spectacular evening which supported the forthcoming Human Rights Institute. 

•  The Scholars Recognition Ceremony lauded more than 325 scholarship recipients and 100 donors in Harwood Arena.
